Discover who’s steering Protaigé, with a formal introduction to our founding team, revealing our strategic blend of expertise. Learn about the role of recent AI developments in shaping Protaigé’s technology approach, and get an overview of our immediate milestones.

First, I’d like to formally introduce our founding team, Wawa, Damir, Moses and Jess, as well as our esteemed board advisors, Johann, Nicholas, Addison, and Pauly. We’re thrilled to have such a diverse and experienced group guiding us through these early stages. Thank you for your support and participation.

Next, I’m delighted to unveil our pre-seed landing page. On the landing page, you’ll find draft bios that position our early-stage board as a strategic blend of agency and enterprise, marketing and creative.

While you’re there, I invite you to download and read the market analysis. It reveals a promising landscape for the application of generative AI in marketing. Highlights:

  • The value of AI in marketing has grown significantly, with nearly 600 startups raising $66.2 billion in funding by 2023.
  • Adoption rates are high, with 92% of UK brand marketers advocating for AI investment.
  • By 2025, 30% of outbound marketing messages from large organisations will be synthetically generated.
  • B2B companies are leading the way in using generative AI, with an adoption rate of 78% compared to 65% in B2C companies.
  • 66% of companies using generative AI have received a positive ROI, with cost efficiencies improving over time.

In terms of technology, the latest developments with GPT-4 are encouraging and align well with our vision for Protaigé. OpenAI’s introduction of custom instructions and plugins for ChatGPT is a significant step forward. This feature allows us to tailor the AI’s responses to better meet our needs, enhancing the user experience and improving the efficiency of interactions. It also means we can leverage these advancements rather than starting from scratch, making our tech stack more achievable and easier to build. However, the pace of change is rapid, underscoring the need for us to move quickly. You can read more about Open AI’s latest developments here.

The ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike and the broader conversation around copyright issues have brought the need for solutions like Protaigé into sharp focus. Our unique approach of pairing brand-trained AI models with creator-trained generative models offers a fresh perspective. Crucially, our model rewards creators for work their digital protégés produce, supporting the creative community while delivering personalised content for companies.

In the coming weeks, we have these milestones to look forward to:

  • Financial modelling and business plan completed: 4th August
  • Formal introductions to team and product: week commencing 7th August
  • Termsheets signed: week ending 12th August
  • Company incorporation and share issuance: week commencing 14th August
  • Techstars (https://www.techstars.com/newsroom/investment-terms) application: 9th August
  • YCombinator (https://www.ycombinator.com/deal) application (our primary fundraising target): 11th September

Thank you for your time and your ongoing support. I look forward to working together to make Protaigé a successful reality.
